Has anyone looked into any potential connections Markey Gardner, also known as "Smoke," might have had in Norfolk and Virginia Beach? Sometimes the key to understanding these cases lies in who the person was in their everyday life. Gardner was clearly someone with deep roots in the area, having attended local schools like Bowling Park Elementary and Norview High. It's tragic to think of his children, Daunte and Nisha, having to cope with this unexpected loss, especially after the loss of Gardner's son, Larry. I can't help but wonder what the community relationships were like and if there's anyone who might know more about Gardner's last days.
