Hey everyone, I've been diving deeper into the Brian Shaffer case, and I have a question about the bar's surveillance setup. It's always baffled me that Brian seemingly vanished into thin air considering the camera coverage at the Ugly Tuna Saloona. Does anyone know if the cameras were functioning at full capacity that night? Maybe some were offline or malfunctioning? Or is it more of a matter that the angles just weren’t in his favor? I’m also curious if the construction area some people mention had any surveillance from surrounding businesses or street cameras. Even if it’s a long shot, maybe someone overlooked external footage that could have captured something unusual that night. I guess it just seems crazy that he wouldn't turn up on a single camera outside the primary set at the bar. Would love any insight or thoughts on this aspect!

Did anyone else find it odd how Brian was described as having such a magnetic personality? I’ve read about the people he interacted with that night at the Ugly Tuna Saloona, and they all seemed genuinely drawn to him. Could this have anything to do with his sudden disappearance? Maybe someone he interacted with was a little too interested in him, in a way that caught him off guard? Or perhaps he trusted someone he shouldn't have? It seems strange that there were so many people around, yet no one has been able to provide a solid lead on what happened to him after he was last seen on surveillance. It's been years, and I'm still puzzling over how someone seemingly so vibrant and well-liked could vanish so completely.

Does anyone else find the construction site theory curious? I've been digging into anything I can find about the Ugly Tuna Saloona's layout in 2006, and it's fascinating how incomplete the camera coverage was. If there really was a service door leading to that area, then maybe Brian did somehow make his way out there. I've read that the spot was a mess, filled with debris and potentially dangerous. Could he have ventured out there thinking it was a shortcut or for some other reason? It's so strange that something like this could stump everyone for so long. I still can't wrap my head around how nobody would notice such a thing at the time. Would love to hear thoughts or any additional info that anyone might have.
