Has anyone looked into the timing around when Mary Elizabeth Carter’s wallet was found? I find it odd that it ended up in Lake Tahoe, which isn’t that close to where she was last seen in Reno. Was she trying to head to California instead of Carson City? It makes you wonder if someone picked up her wallet and took it there, or if Mary somehow made it that far before something happened.
