I came across John Earley's case while browsing through some missing persons databases, and something that puzzles me is the lack of any significant leads despite Kodiak being a relatively small and tight-knit community back in 1970. You'd think someone might have seen or heard something unusual around the time he disappeared, especially in such a close community. Is it possible that there were witnesses who felt too afraid to come forward at the time, or maybe local dynamics that influenced the silence? It just seems odd that fifty years later, there's still not so much as a credible tip to follow up on. Would love to hear what others think about this.
