I've been following the case of Edward Jones, and something that's been on my mind is the location where he was found. Being discovered on a second-floor walkway of a motel seems really suspicious and raises a lot of questions about what led him there. It feels important to consider why this location in particular? Did he know someone at the motel, or could it have been a place he was taken against his will?
It's comforting to know that the investigation eventually led to significant breakthroughs, transitioning it from a presumed suicide to understanding it as a murder. I can't imagine what his family is going through, having thought they were initially dealing with a suicide and then learning about a potential murder. It's good to know that law enforcement took the time to dig deeper into the circumstances and that their persistence led to the arrest of a suspect.
