I've been following the Aldo Coti case for a while now, and it makes me think about how frustrating it must be for cases like this to go cold without any new leads. I noticed there's been no mention of any significant health issues Aldo might have had. Does anyone know if there’s any information about his medical history or possible conditions he might have suffered from? Sometimes these details can provide a clue or explain certain aspects of a disappearance, like if he was in need of medication and possibly sought help without ID. The lack of physical identifiers like tattoos or scars also complicates things—makes me wonder if there were personal contacts or places in NYC he frequently visited. Anyone with insights or thoughts on this angle?
I’ve been thinking a lot about Aldo Coti’s case lately and can’t help but wonder about the impact of time on potential witnesses. It's been so many years since he disappeared, and I imagine the neighborhood and people in it have changed significantly. I’ve read articles saying that areas can evolve a lot over decades, and people move, businesses close, etc. For those who lived in NYC back in the '80s and still have family there, is there a chance someone remembers anything new or noticed something odd back then that now seems relevant? It feels like revisiting the area, talking to long-time residents who might still live there, could potentially spark some memories. It's a long shot, but sometimes old memories might hold forgotten pieces of the puzzle. What do you guys think about canvassing efforts after all these years?
