I keep thinking about how much potential Coleman had. It's just so unfair that someone so passionate and full of life had his future stolen from him. I've been reading up on the trial, and it struck me how the defense tried to paint the situation. Even though the evidence was clear that Coleman was unarmed and not threatening anyone, it still seemed like there was an effort to spin a narrative. It's really unsettling to imagine how difficult the trial must have been for Coleman's family. I really hope the light he brought to his community can inspire more positive change in addressing these issues. What a tragic reminder of how we all need to come together to prevent such senseless acts.
