I recently read about Geonna Bradley's case, and it really struck a chord with me as a parent. It's absolutely devastating that such a lively four-year-old's life was cut short in what authorities have deemed a tragic accident. My heart goes out to her family, who must be going through unimaginable pain. This incident makes me wonder about the regulations (or lack thereof) surrounding pellet guns and other similar non-powder firearms. It's terrifying to think how these can be so easily accessible and lack proper warnings about the risks they pose, especially to children. It seems like many assume they're toys when they can be just as dangerous as any other weapon. Has anyone else here faced situations where they've had to educate their kids about this sort of thing? It really makes me want to set up stricter rules at home and talk more openly about the dangers of these objects. I'm hoping Geonna's story prompts more awareness and changes in how these items are treated by manufacturers and consumers alike.
