Has anyone else been thinking about the role of social media in crimes like the one involving Amanda Taylor? It's so disturbing how she used Instagram to announce and almost boast about what she did. It's almost like she was living in some twisted reality that the likes and comments meant something more significant. This case is unsettling in so many ways, but the public confession made it all the more chilling. I can't imagine what Charles Taylor's loved ones went through seeing such a cold display of violence online. With social media's reach today, these actions impact not just the immediate circle of victims but a much larger audience. It's a complex layer to these tragic events, reminding us to be mindful of how platforms can be used for harm. Thoughts?
