I’ve been following the Brumfield case since it made headlines, and something that strikes me is the remarkable dedication Curtis had to his job at Lynchburg Emergency Services. It’s clear from colleagues’ statements that he wasn't just doing a job; he was making a genuine difference in people's lives. For nearly two decades, Curtis was a reliable presence, no doubt providing comfort and aid in countless emergencies. It’s deeply saddening to think of the void his absence will leave, both in the community he served and among his coworkers who leaned on his experience and friendship. While the ongoing investigation seeks to clarify what happened, it's crucial to remember the positive impact Curtis had during his life. Hoping the details soon come to light so that both Curtis and Susan's loved ones can find some measure of peace in this inexplicable tragedy. Anyone else feel the same way about recognizing the contributions he made to his community?
