Anyone else find it strange that there were absolutely no distress signals or emergency beacons activated when the Capon disappeared? With Rich and Randy being such experienced fishermen, you'd think they would have had an emergency plan in place. Being well-versed in maritime operations, it's puzzling that even if something unexpected happened, they wouldn't have had time to send out any kind of alert. This part of the case has me stumped. Could it be possible that the signaling equipment malfunctioned, or is there a chance something more sudden or sinister prevented them from communicating? Curious to hear what others think about this angle.
