I came across some information recently that got me wondering about the community support and involvement aspect in cases like Trequan “Trey” Holmes’ tragic murder. Richmond is a close-knit community, and I hope that more people will feel compelled to come forward with any information, no matter how insignificant it might seem. It's so frustrating to think that someone out there might know what happened but hasn't spoken up yet. I can only imagine how difficult this must be for Trey’s family, especially as the years go by without answers or justice. I was wondering if anyone knew if the Richmond Police Department or local community groups have held any recent events or outreach initiatives to keep the case in the public's mind? It seems like the kind of collective action that could make a substantial difference and perhaps bring new evidence or witnesses forward. Keeping the memory of Trey alive and continuing the conversation might just be the key to unlocking some of the truths we’re missing. If anyone has details on this or other ways the community can help, it’d be greatly appreciated. We all want to see justice served for Trequan and his loved ones.
