I’ve been thinking a lot about those who knew Xiaoliang Wang and Hongmei Tan, especially their regulars at Pro Nails. It's clear that this tragedy has left a huge void, and I can only imagine the mix of emotions felt by anyone who sat in their chairs and shared moments with them. Nail salons often become more than just a place for beauty, they’re little communities where relationships are built. Hearing that shops like Pro Nails are filled with stories and chatter, even amidst such sorrow, makes their absence feel even more significant. It’s heartbreaking to realize that for many in Onley, going to get their nails done was more than routine; it was a touchpoint in their lives. The community must be rallying together more than ever, and I hope everyone continues to support each other through this difficult time. Thoughts go out to all who were close to them.
