I’ve been following the Rudzinski case and something that really strikes me is the email Dennis sent to the neighbors before the tragic events unfolded. It's so haunting to think about the weight of his words in that message. He seemed to express gratitude, which makes me wonder whether he felt isolated despite the support. As someone who watched their partner suffer immensely, he might have felt that this was the only way to end both their pain. It’s chilling to see how desperation can drive people to such actions. My thoughts are with Marilyn and Dennis’s loved ones who have to find a way to make peace with this unimaginable loss. The entire community must feel the void left by this couple. These situations remind us to check in on those who are going through overwhelming circumstances and offer whatever support we can.
