Hey everyone, I've been following this case closely and it’s really hitting hard. I wanted to talk about Charles Levar Sharpe's role as a documentary producer highlighting positive stories in his community. It's such a shame to lose someone who was actively trying to change the narrative and promote good within Newport News. His work through his media company seemed to really showcase the potential and achievements of young people, giving them a platform to be seen in a different light. It just feels like the kind of work that has a ripple effect, not only boosting the subjects of the documentaries but inspiring others to find ways to contribute positively as well. Does anyone know if any of the documentaries he worked on are available online? It would be a great way to continue supporting his mission and keep his message alive. My heart goes out to his family and all those young people he inspired. They’ve lost a great mentor and advocate. If anyone has more insights into his projects or how to support them, please share. Thanks for reading.
