I'm really saddened by Robert Lee Anderson's case, especially considering how active the community usually is in supporting each other. I grew up not too far from Hampton, and shootings have always been a terrifying part of life here. It breaks my heart to see a young life taken so abruptly, leaving his family without answers for so long. One thing I've been wondering about is if there were any security cameras in the area that could have caught something that night. The shooting occurred on a somewhat busy stretch of E. Mercury Blvd, and I can't help but think there must be some kind of footage out there. It might not provide all the answers, but any little detail could be crucial. I hope someone who knows more about what businesses might have had surveillance cameras around there at the time can chime in. If anyone remembers anything, even if it seems insignificant, please consider reaching out to the police. Robert's family deserves to have closure, and we owe it to them to help in any way we can. Let’s hope justice comes soon.
