I've always been intrigued by the case of Brian Douglas Bayer. One aspect I find particularly puzzling is how two brothers, presumably familiar with the desert, could become separated so suddenly. It makes me wonder about the conditions and whether there could have been some unexpected event or third party involved. The desert can be brutal, but it's odd that no trace of Brian has ever been found. Has anyone else looked into or heard about environmental factors that might have complicated the search efforts back in '86? It's frustrating that the case remains a mystery after all these years, and I hope fresh eyes or technology might eventually uncover something new.
