Hey everyone, I’ve been thinking a lot about the atmosphere in Norfolk after Lytiek's death. It's just so unsettling and sad how the neighborhood has changed since that night in 2016. People used to talk about how close-knit and vibrant the community felt, but after the shooting on Brambleton Avenue, a shadow seemed to settle over the area. It’s understandable, given how shocking an event like that must have been for everyone who knew him. It’s just so frustrating that there haven’t been any major breakthroughs yet. I can't imagine how hard this ongoing uncertainty is for his family and friends. If anyone has details they haven’t shared yet, no matter how small they think they might be, speaking up could really help the investigation. It’s crucial that the community comes together to support his loved ones and hopefully bring some peace to everyone who knew him. It’s a reminder for all of us to look out for one another and be vigilant about keeping our community safe. Let’s hope 2023 finally brings some much-needed answers and justice. Stay safe, everyone.
