I’ve been following Neal’s case for a while now, and I keep thinking about the 40 block area where the shooting occurred. Portsmouth isn't exactly known for being the safest place, but it makes me wonder, what was happening around that area on September 20, 2016? Was there any known activity or events that might have drawn attention or led to an increased police presence?
Also, does anyone know if the community installed any cameras or if there were businesses with surveillance around that might have captured something useful? It’s just so frustrating how these pieces of the puzzle seem to be scattered, and it must be incredibly tough for Neal’s loved ones not to have answers. My heart goes out to them—he seemed like such a bright light, and it’s a shame that no one has been held accountable yet. If anyone has any insights or can point to local news archives, it might help us piece this together.
I've been following Gregory "Neal" Brown's case, and something that's been on my mind is the community's role in these investigations. Neal was such a vibrant person, and it's clear he touched a lot of lives in Portsmouth. I saw that the authorities have been working hard, but it seems like there's been little movement in the case.
Do you think there might be people in the community who know more than they're saying? Maybe they’re scared or worried about coming forward, but it could be crucial for the investigation. Neal deserves justice, and his family and friends need answers. If anyone out there is holding onto information, even if it seems small or insignificant, I hope they'll come forward. It's devastating to think of a case like this not getting resolved because of unshared pieces of the puzzle. Let's help keep Neal's spirit alive by supporting his loved ones in their quest for justice.
