It's been nearly seven years since the Buckley family tragedy, and I find myself still reflecting on the role mental health played in all this. Lance Buckley was dealing with significant mental health issues, but there seemed to be a lack of support or intervention that could've prevented this nightmare. It's so important to talk about how we can better support individuals facing mental health challenges to avoid these devastating outcomes. I can’t help but think about the Buckley family’s friends and neighbors who are left with unanswered questions—how did things get so bad without any visible signs? For those who knew them, losing not just one, but an entire family, must be a haunting experience. I'm hopeful that ongoing conversations about mental health will help us as a community better identify and assist those in need before it's too late. Let's not let those sweet little girls, Abigail and Claire, be forgotten as just another statistic. They—and their mom, Amy—deserve to be remembered as much more than the tragedy that took them.

Has anyone dug into the background of Lance Buckley's mental health? It's just so puzzling that someone who seemed to have such a loving family could do something so awful. Remember how the 2015 disappearance was all over the news? It's clear that he was struggling even back then. I feel for Amy and those sweet girls, Claire and Abigail. It's hard to imagine what they went through. It's terrifying how mental health issues can escalate to this point without people realizing the severity beforehand. I hope this case prompts more conversations about mental health support, especially for those who might not outwardly show signs of being in crisis. Sending love to the Buckley family and those left behind to pick up the pieces.
