I've been looking into John Sparks' disappearance and something about the whole situation strikes me as odd. I mean, the waters around Whale Pass are notoriously treacherous, but isn't it strange that no trace of John or the vessel was ever found? With it being 1986, I know the technology for search and rescue wasn't as advanced as today, but it feels like there would've been some debris or life equipment recovered. Were there any reports of unusual weather patterns or rogue waves that day? It feels like something's missing from the narrative. Anyone know if there were other incidents in the area that might shed some light on what could have happened to John and the Shadrach?
