I was reading about the Kirshem Sanders case, and one thing that really caught my attention was the community's response. It’s incredibly frustrating to see how long these investigations can take, especially when the details are just so tragic. Even though Rashadee Jones and Jordan Copeland took plea deals, I keep thinking about how Vera Sanders, Kirshem's mother, must have felt throughout this process. The level of courage it must take to face these legal proceedings while mourning your child is unimaginable. I understand why some might think the plea deals don’t feel like full justice, but they do seem to be a step towards some kind of resolution for the family. It also makes me think about how important community support can be during times like these. Has there been any mention of how the local community is supporting the Sanders family, or any initiatives to keep Kirshem's memory alive? It would be heartwarming to see people come together, in whatever way they can, to stand by the family and maybe even bring more awareness to these complex cases that don't always have a straightforward conclusion.
