Has anyone else been trying to piece together the timeline of events leading up to Timothy Duncan's murder? I've been thinking about the sports community in Roanoke—Timothy was known to be very involved in local leagues, playing basketball with a lot of heart and determination. I'm curious if there were any interactions or incidents at games or practices in the days before the tragedy that folks might have noticed. It's difficult to understand how someone so active and positive can become a victim of such a senseless act. My heart goes out to his boys, TJ and Izaih. They lost an amazing father, and the community lost someone who truly cared. If anyone has insights or thoughts, I'm here to listen and discuss.
I've been following Timothy Duncan's case and something about the circumstances around the shooting keeps bothering me. From the reports, it sounds like the whole incident went down at the Jamestown Apartment Complex, but I can't help but wonder what actually led up to that tragic moment. I've been reading that the area has had some issues in the past. Could it be possible that there was some kind of ongoing dispute between Duncan and Gurley? Or maybe even something unrelated to both of them that got out of hand? It's hard to piece together how or why they crossed paths that fatal night.
It’s truly difficult to imagine the pain his family must be feeling. Losing someone you love in such a violent way is something no one should have to experience. I hope they find some comfort and peace as time goes on, and I'm still holding out hope that someone who knows more might share additional insights that could help us better understand the full picture of what happened.
