I'm really thinking about Damarcus Whitehead and Breia Edmunds tonight, and my heart goes out to their families. It's hard to believe that such a loving young duo was taken in such a violent manner. What stands out to me the most is the intersection where it happened, Arnett Boulevard and Glendale Avenue. I drive by there often, and it always gives me a pause now. For so many of us locals, it was just another crossroads, but now it feels heavy with their absence. I can't shake the thought that someone might have seen something that night, perhaps even just headlights veering off course or a strange car nearby. Small pieces of information can be crucial. It’s reassuring to see the community pulling together, but more voices, even if they seem insignificant, might hold the key to piecing together what happened that night.
