I came across Derek Andre Edwards' case when I was reading up on unsolved crimes in Norfolk. I've been thinking about his family and friends a lot since it must be incredibly difficult not having answers after nearly six years. It seems like such a mystery, especially with the incident happening just after New Year’s celebrations. One thing that's been bothering me is whether there were any witnesses or cameras in the area, given the time and location. I hope that anyone who knows even the slightest detail finds the courage to come forward. It's vital for Derek's family to find some peace. Has anyone heard of efforts from the local community to keep his story alive? Sometimes getting more eyes and ears on a case brings new leads. Keeping Derek and his loved ones in my thoughts.
