Has anyone else been thinking about how the presence of a child during such a horrific incident might impact them? It must be incredibly confusing and traumatic for a child to experience something like this, and I truly hope that there is a strong support system in place for them. It's unbelievable to think about the long-lasting effects this event might have on their life. I can't even begin to imagine how the families of both Jo Ann and Bernie are coping with this situation. Such a sad loss. The community has been shaken by this, and it just goes to show how important it is to address domestic issues before they escalate to such fatal outcomes. Therapy and counseling resources for children who have witnessed violence could be crucial here. Sending my thoughts to everyone affected, especially that young child.
