Hey everyone, I've been following the case of Glenn Lamont Travers and wanted to discuss the role that community trust seems to play in these investigations. It's clear from Chief Drew's efforts that they are trying to bridge the gap between law enforcement and the community, but it feels like one of those things that's easier said than done. From what I understand, people in the area might be scared to come forward with information due to fear of retaliation or just a general mistrust of police. But without community input, it's so much harder to piece together what happened. Does anyone have thoughts on how police can build relationships that encourage people to share what they know? It's tragic for Glenn's family to still be seeking answers, and I truly hope someone finds the courage to speak up. They deserve closure and justice for Glenn's untimely death. Would love to hear your thoughts or any similar experiences with how these types of issues have been handled in other communities.
