Has anyone else been following the case of Brandan Smith from Portsmouth? I can’t get over the fact that we’re over five years down the line with no solid leads or arrests. What caught my attention recently was the R.E.S.E.T. walk organized by the police—did anyone here participate or hear more details about that event? It's incredibly encouraging to see the community coming together and supporting each other through such a difficult time, especially with the level of violence that night. I really hope that these efforts help bring some healing to Brandan's family and friends. If you have any more insights or thoughts, feel free to share. Let’s keep his memory alive and continue pushing for answers.
I've been following Brandan Smith's tragic case since it happened, and I just can't shake this lingering feeling about the lack of information. One detail that's been bugging me is the setting—why Watts Avenue on the night of July 4th? It seems like an odd time and place, considering the holiday. Is there a possibility that Brandan knew his attacker or that it was a random act of violence due to the chaotic atmosphere of the night?
I also wonder about the implications of it being such a violent night across Hampton Roads. It's alarming that 11 people were shot that night, and it raises questions about whether any of these incidents could be connected. Was Brandan just in the wrong place at the wrong time, or is there more to this story that we're missing?
My heart goes out to Brandan's family and friends, who are undoubtedly in anguish waiting for justice. It must be so frustrating not having answers or knowing if anyone is even close to being held accountable. If anyone has insight or theories, please share. Every piece of the puzzle might help bring resolution to his loved ones.
