I've been following the Youngblood case, and I can't stop thinking about Sharon, the 15-year-old sister. It's just so devastating to imagine her fear and courage in those final moments. To be able to call 911 after such a traumatic event is a testament to her bravery. I can't wrap my head around how she must have felt trying to help little Brooklynn and the strength it took to make that call. My heart goes out to her friends and any family they have left, having lost not one, but two loved ones like that. It’s truly a senseless tragedy that touches on the importance of finding healthy ways to resolve familial conflicts. The impact of this case will surely be felt for years by all who knew them.
