Hi everyone,
I’ve been following the tragic case of David Bernard Stewart, and something that really stands out to me is the bravery of the young woman who survived the attack. Though she was critically injured, she managed to get through surgery, and her courage during such a horrific event is truly commendable. I can’t even begin to imagine the trauma she must be dealing with, both physically and mentally. It's important that we keep her in our thoughts, as she will likely face a long and difficult recovery.
Does anyone know if there's been any community support or any fundraisers to help her with medical expenses? It would be nice to see some way of letting her and her family know that they’re supported and not alone in this. If you're local to Danville, any information on how we might be able to help from afar would be much appreciated.
Thanks for reading and caring about those affected by this senseless act of violence.
