I'm still trying to wrap my head around the tragedy that unfolded on Shula Drive. It’s so difficult to fathom the pain and trauma experienced by those two women, Patricia and Deborah, who were injured while trying to escape. I mean, getting shot and still managing to drive to a store for help? That takes incredible strength and survival instincts. My heart goes out to them and I hope they’re receiving the support they need to heal both physically and emotionally. I also can’t stop thinking about the bravery of the bystander who stepped up and contacted the authorities. In such chaotic moments, having someone recognize the urgency of the situation and act quickly can make all the difference. Truly, it's a reminder of how interconnected we all are and how much our actions can impact others, especially during moments of crisis. This case has really shaken the community, but it’s also showcasing the resilience and humanity we need to lean on in the aftermath.
