Has anyone else been following the developments in Rodney Epps' case? My heart goes out to his family and friends, and I can't even begin to imagine what they’re going through right now. It feels like just as the community is starting to rally and come together, we're reminded of the tragic and senseless nature of this loss. One aspect I find particularly curious is that we still haven't heard anything about a possible motive. It's unsettling because understanding the "why" can be an important part of the healing process for everyone involved—and it might even prevent future incidents like this. Secrets have a way of coming out, and I'm hopeful that someone in the community will feel encouraged to share what they know. If anyone in the area has insight or gets word of what's happening, please keep us updated. I think we all want to see Rodney get the justice he deserves and to make sense of this tragedy. Please take care, everyone!

I’ve been thinking a lot about the impact Rodney Epps had on our community in Norfolk. He was more than just a familiar face at the Happy Shopper; he was someone who always had a kind word or smile for everyone who walked in. It’s so difficult to process that someone who brought positivity to our lives was taken in such a violent way. I know many neighbors who are still struggling with this loss, and it’s important we stand together to support Rodney’s family during this tough time. As the preliminary hearings for Dajuan May-Daily and Hannah Moore approach, I can only hope we see justice served. But I also really hope the authorities keep us in the loop about why this happened. It might help us to understand and heal. Does anyone know if there have been any community gatherings or vigils planned in Rodney’s honor? It’d be nice to come together not only to remember him but also to strengthen our community bonds, as Rodney would have wanted. If you hear of something, please share. Let’s continue to support each other and ensure Rodney’s legacy as a beloved community member is never forgotten.
