It’s comforting to see a community come together in the face of such a tragic loss, but I can’t help but feel heartache for Lou’s loved ones. This act of violence ripped a talented young person away from his dreams and potential. Thinking about how his family copes every day reminds us all of the importance of compassion and kindness in our interactions.
