I've been following Rodney Riviello's case, and there's a detail that keeps nagging at me. Why was Rodney discharged from the hospital without any ID or personal belongings? Knowing his medical history, it seems odd that the hospital let him leave in that state. I've read other cases where the staff would at least hold the patient until a next of kin is notified, especially when cognitive issues are documented. Could this have been an oversight on the hospital's part, or maybe they thought he seemed okay to go? It just feels like a critical moment where things might have gone differently. Anyone else have similar stories about hospital discharges or thoughts on why this might have happened?
