I've been thinking a lot about the location where Terence L. Williams was tragically killed. The parking lot of a Beauty & Fashion Beauty Supply store on Kecoughtan Road is busy, with people coming and going all the time. It's unsettling to consider that something so violent could happen in such a public space. I can't imagine how terrifying it must have been for witnesses and bystanders to hear those shots and the panic that ensued. I hope that the details surrounding Terence's last moments will soon come to light, and that someone who saw something will come forward. My heart goes out to his family and friends. It's clear that Terence was loved and respected within the community—losing a barber like him, who must have touched so many lives, is undoubtedly a profound loss for everyone.
