I've been thinking a lot about Reggie's role as a coach for the Phoebus Phantoms Rec League. It seems like he really made a difference for the kids he worked with, and from what I’ve read, he wasn’t just coaching on the field but also mentoring off it. It’s so upsetting to think about how much those kids lost when Reggie was taken from them. He wasn’t just teaching them about football; he was teaching them about life - discipline, teamwork, and respect. I can only imagine how difficult it is for them to process something like this, especially when it sounds like he was someone they really looked up to. I truly hope they have the support they need right now, and that they can carry forward the lessons he imparted. It’s so important for us to recognize how people like Reggie uplift their communities in ways that are often overlooked until it's too late. ?️
