Hey everyone, I've been thinking a lot about the timing of the shooting that took the life of Deatrice D. Lawrence. It's just devastating to think that what was supposed to be a joyful Memorial Day gathering turned into such a tragedy. I read that it happened right after 10:30 p.m., just as the barbecue was ending. It makes me wonder if the timing was significant—like, were the shooters waiting for things to wind down, or was it completely random? It's so unsettling to imagine the fear and chaos that must have swept over what should have been a peaceful end to the holiday. My heart goes out to Deatrice's family and everyone else affected. I really hope more information comes out soon and that justice is served. If anyone has any additional thoughts or insights, I'd love to hear them. Has anyone heard updates on any security footage from that night? Considering Dubose Drive is a residential area, you would think there may have been some surveillance cameras that could help shed light on what happened. It’s been over three years now, and there’s still so much uncertainty surrounding Deatrice’s case. I can’t imagine the pain her family must feel, not having answers or justice. Maybe there’s still a good chance some footage could emerge that might bring new leads. If anyone in the community or neighbors have info, sharing it could make a big difference. Thoughts and prayers to everyone affected by this terrible event.
