Just wanted to share some thoughts I had about the vigil held for Cinque Johnson. I think it's beautiful how the community has come together to support his family and pay tribute to his memory. It's clear that Cinque was deeply cherished by those who knew him, and the turnout really showed the strength and solidarity of Richmond. What stood out to me was Tasha Johnson, Cinque’s mother, and her powerful plea to end gun violence. Her strength in this incredibly difficult time is truly inspiring, and it's heartbreaking to see her channeling her grief into advocacy. It makes me wonder how we as a society can do more to support families like hers and ensure their voices are heard. Keeping Cinque and Larry’s loved ones in my thoughts and hoping for justice and some measure of peace for them.
I can't stop thinking about Chapelle Paige. This whole situation is beyond tragic, but to survive something so horrific must be a heavy burden to bear. I hope he’s receiving all the support he needs, both physically and emotionally, to process what happened. It’s hard to imagine the survivor’s guilt he might be feeling, knowing his friends Cinque and Larry didn’t make it. This isn’t just a headline or an investigation; it’s real people’s lives. I’m keeping Chapelle, as well as the families of those who passed, in my thoughts and hoping for answers soon. If anyone has insights into how Chapelle is doing, please share. It's important for the community to stand by him as he navigates his recovery.
