I can't stop thinking about the impact Derrick's passing has had on his community, especially the role he played in his daughter Deryahna's life. From what I've read, Derrick was more than just a father; he was a role model and a constant presence for her. It's so hard to comprehend how people can be taken so suddenly, and I hope that Deryahna is surrounded by love and support during this heartbreaking time. I'm curious if any community initiatives or support groups have been set up in his memory to address gun violence. It feels like creating such avenues could offer healing and prevention moving forward. My thoughts are with everyone who knew and loved Derrick.
