It's puzzling that John's car was found all the way in Aberdeen. That area is about 30 miles from Shelton, and it's not exactly on the direct route to Kalaloch. Does anyone know if there are any significant landmarks or places around Aberdeen that he might have been trying to visit or where he might have been seen? It seems odd that someone familiar with the coast would veer off to that area unless he had a reason. It's been over two years now, and the trail seems pretty cold. Hoping someone with local knowledge can shed some light on this unusual detour.
