It's been nearly three years since Isaiah J. Ward was taken from his family and friends, and I can only imagine the lingering pain for those who knew him. I was reading up on his case again today and couldn't help but wonder about the community's response following that tragic day. With no suspects publicly identified, and the investigation seemingly stalled, I can't imagine how difficult it must be for those who just want answers and justice. I feel for the residents of Barraud Park, too. It must be unnerving to experience such violence in your neighborhood. For the community to heal and feel safe again, it’s crucial for anyone with information to step forward. Every detail, no matter how small, might make a difference. Thoughts and prayers to Isaiah’s loved ones and the entire Norfolk community. Stay strong, and let’s hope that those who know something find the courage to speak out.
