Hey everyone, I've been following the Michael Wheeler case, and something that stands out to me is the timeline around when concerns for his welfare were raised. It's puzzling that it took until September 16, 2024, for anyone to report him missing when he was last seen on August 24, 2024. That's over three weeks!
Does anyone know if Michael had a routine or any family/friends he usually checked in with regularly? It's odd that there was such a delay in raising the alarm unless there's more to his personal situation than we know. A delay like that can be crucial in cases like these.
Hoping someone might have insight or additional details about his relationships or daily life. It might help piece together why it took so long for concerns to be reported. Any thoughts? Stay safe, everyone.
Has anyone else been following the Michael Wheeler case from Yeovil? It's just so puzzling to me how a person can just vanish, and then boom, a body turns up weeks later, thanks to a tip. I’m curious about the charges brought against the four men—Garland, Rance, Roberts, and Clare. What’s the background on these guys? Were they known to Michael, or is this a completely random act? Seems strange that there hasn't been a lot of detail in the media about their connection, if any.
I saw that two other men were arrested for assisting, and now I've got so many questions. Why would someone help cover something like this up? It's baffling to think how some people end up involved in such dark situations. The lack of info is really leaving a lot to the imagination, but I guess we'll learn more during the Bristol Crown Court hearing. Anyone have more insights or thoughts on what we might find out when it gets to trial?
