I was reading about Edwin Dennard and his brother Alfonzie, and I can't stop thinking about the kids Edwin left behind. It’s so tragic to lose not only a father but a grandfather as well. From what I’ve gathered, Edwin seemed like someone deeply committed to his family and community. He was always trying to lift the youth out of violence, and it’s heartbreaking to think that violence took him away. It makes me wonder about the impact on their children and how they are coping with all this. Growing up without their father will be so difficult, especially since they looked up to him as a role model. I hope they have a strong support system around them and that they find the strength to keep moving forward, just as Edwin would have wanted. Does anybody know of any community support or funds being organized for the family? It would be great if we could spread the word and help in any way we can.

This case has been weighing on my mind. I didn't know Edwin personally, but I knew of his work with young people in the area. It's baffling to think that someone who spent so much time trying to keep the community safe could end up a victim of such a senseless act. It’s concerning that there are still no leads or suspects. I wonder if there’s any update on whether this was a targeted attack or something random. My heart goes out to the Dennard family, especially his children and grandchildren. They deserve answers and justice. If anyone has any insights or theories, it might help to keep discussing and sharing information. Hopefully, this can lead to a break in the case.

Wow, this case just gets more puzzling by the day. I keep thinking about how Edwin was so involved in combating youth violence and yet met such a violent end himself. It's hard not to wonder if his work might have put him in the crosshairs of some dangerous individuals. Was he silenced for trying to make a difference? It's terrifying and sad to think that doing the right thing could end this way. I truly hope the detectives find something concrete soon. The Dennard family deserves answers and peace after such a tragic loss. My thoughts are with them. What do you all think? Could his advocacy work be linked to what happened?
