This case is beyond tragic, and my heart goes out to both the Gumbs and Mayo families. I can't even imagine the devastation they're going through. One detail that's been haunting me is the home surveillance recording that captured those six gunshots. It's like a shadow looming over this entire tragedy, knowing that moment is documented. I wonder how something that seemed like a normal night, with plans to travel, escalated so violently. What were the last things they said to each other before it all went wrong? I hope they both find peace in their own ways and that the community can rally around everyone affected by this nightmare.
