I can't stop thinking about Cody's girlfriend, Clarisse, and how hard it must be for her right now. Being with someone just minutes before something so devastating happens must leave a deep mark. She's likely replaying those moments over and over, questioning if there was anything different that could've been done. This whole case is so perplexing because it seems like Cody was simply going about what any of us do without a second thought.
In my experience, relationships like theirs where they shared that kind of daily life connection make these events even more challenging to process. I hope Clarisse and Cody's loved ones know they have a supportive community behind them in this difficult time. If anyone knows something that could help, they really should come forward. Cody deserves justice, and those who cared about him deserve some peace.❤️
I wanted to share some thoughts about the billboards put up to seek justice for Cody Austin Woodson. It's heartbreaking how families have to go to these lengths just to keep a case alive and in the public eye. The Aware Foundation's collaboration with Lamar Advertising is such an important step. It not only keeps Cody's story fresh but might also jog someone's memory or conscience to finally come forward with crucial information.
I can't even begin to imagine the pain Cody's family and friends must be feeling, especially his girlfriend, Clarisse. It's so vital to keep supporting initiatives like this because they show the community there’s continual hope and effort being made for justice. I sincerely hope this billboard helps unearth some leads so that Cody’s family can find some semblance of peace.
