Hey everyone, just wanted to share some thoughts amid all the discussions surrounding Roddie Rod's case. My heart goes out to his family and everyone touched by his loss. Something that struck me was the close-knit nature of the community and how people are rallying around each other to cope with this tragedy. I recently came across a beautiful post from one of Gerard's friends who shared how he would always lift spirits with his jokes and infectious smile. It’s clear he made a meaningful impact on those around him. Despite the pain, it's inspiring to see folks coming together, not only to seek justice but also to remember the joyous times they shared with him. It's so important for the community to hold on to those positive memories even as they navigate this tough time. It’s a reminder of how interconnected we all are and how essential it is to support one another when tragedy hits close to home. ?

I’ve been thinking a lot about the emotional wounds left on Roddie Rod’s family and friends. With the recent arrests, it seems there might finally be some steps towards justice, but that doesn’t erase the pain of losing someone so suddenly and violently. I can’t imagine the mix of anger and sadness his loved ones must be feeling right now. I saw a few posts from his kids’ mom online, and it’s so clear how much Roddie was loved. His influence will undoubtedly leave a lasting impression on his children. I hope the community keeps banding together to support them. It’s in times like these that leaning on each other becomes so important. Here’s hoping Roddie’s family gets the closure they need in the future, but in the meantime, let’s keep them in our thoughts. Did anyone else here know Roddie or his family personally? It would be comforting to hear more about his life from those who shared it with him.
