I can't stop thinking about how Ishma Stewart was just about to secure a summer internship before she was taken from us. It really hits home how much potential she had and just how tragically her bright future was cut short. Being so close to a big step in her career, it's devastating that she never got the chance to pursue her dreams. It hurts to imagine what her family must be going through, knowing how determined she was to make a difference through her writing. Her story reminds me of how unpredictable life can be and how unfair it is when someone with so much to offer is taken too soon. My heart goes out to everyone who knew her, and I hope they find justice for Ishma. She deserved so much better.
