I’ve been following the tragic story of Rock's passing and I can't stop thinking about how much he meant to his community in Norfolk. From what I’ve been reading, it sounds like he was a really well-loved figure there. I heard he went to Norfolk Public Schools and made quite an impact. It’s just so upsetting to see such an important community member taken in such a violent way.
I read that the police are still looking for any leads or witnesses. It makes me sad to think that there might be some folks out there who saw something that night and haven’t come forward yet. I can only imagine how tough it’s been for Rock’s family and friends during this time, trying to find closure and justice for him.
Sending love to everyone who knew Rock. I hope they find answers soon. ❤️ If anyone has tips, please reach out to the police or Crime Line.
I'm really pondering the timing of Rock's shooting. 11 p.m. on a Thursday night—what was happening around that part of W. 28th Street at the time? Was there an event or something that drew people to the area? It might be important, especially if witnesses saw anything unusual. I read somewhere that that neighborhood can have a lot of activity, with people coming and going from nearby restaurants or bars. I feel for Rock’s loved ones. They deserve answers and closure. It's frustrating to think that even a small detail might help the investigation move forward and identify whoever did this. Thinking of you, Rock, and hoping justice is served soon. If anyone has more info on what’s typical for that area in terms of crowds or events, I'd love to hear your thoughts!
