Has anyone here followed the case of Quentin Douglas from back in 2008? It's truly tragic. I was reading about his story, and it's really unsettling to see how many young lives were lost to gun violence in Chicago during that time. What's really stuck with me is the ripple effect these kinds of acts have on families and communities. I can't even begin to imagine what Quentin's family has gone through, not only losing him but also having his case become another heartbreaking statistic. It's so important to keep talking about these victims as real people, not just numbers. I'm curious if anyone knows more about what efforts, if any, were made in Quentin's neighborhood to prevent violence and support the communities impacted. I'm hoping to learn more about what can be done, even in hindsight, to honor him and others like him.
