Hey everyone, I've been following Kenneth Cooper Jr.'s case and I wanted to highlight something that really struck me about the community's response. After Kenneth's tragic death, there seemed to be this collective determination in the Northside Richmond area to stand up against gun violence. It's really moving to see neighbors supporting each other and coming together for vigils and marches to honor his memory. His mom, Laverne McMullen, has shown such resilience and strength through all of this. Not only has she been working towards getting justice for her son, but she's also been actively trying to make a positive change to prevent such tragedies from repeating. The foundation she's planning in Kenneth's name is such a beautiful way to turn their pain into purpose. I hope more people are inspired by her efforts. When communities rally together like this, it gives a glimmer of hope in such dark times. Hoping for justice and peace for Kenneth's family.
